HUNGER Early Access Planned for 2026
The Steam page also outlines the developers’ longer-term plans for HUNGER. The team currently aims to release an Early Access version in 2026, with development expected to continue for around two years.
According to the developers, player feedback will help shape the game during this period. Planned additions include more ranged and melee weapons, two additional Expedition locations, three more Chateau areas, over six additional Living and more than eight types of Hunger.
The team also plans to improve performance, fix bugs and introduce further content as development continues. The game is still a work in progress, so the final version may differ from what players see during testing.
What Happens Next?
The October 19 closed beta is the next opportunity for selected players to try HUNGER before its planned Early Access release. Anyone interested should check the official Steam page for the latest access information and any further instructions from the developers.
