AION 2 is changing how Founder’s Pack cosmetics work after players raised concerns about the original restrictions. Once the change is implemented, eligible cosmetics from a Founder’s Pack will be available to every character on the same account, regardless of server.
The change is aimed at players who switch between servers or level different classes and previously couldn’t freely use their Founder’s Pack outfits across their characters.
AION 2 Founder’s Pack Cosmetics Will Become Account-Wide
Under the new system, Founder’s Pack cosmetics will no longer be limited by individual character or server. Players will be able to use the eligible rewards on all characters across all servers on their account.
The cosmetics available will depend on which Founder’s Pack was purchased.
Standard Founder’s Pack
The Standard Founder’s Pack includes:
Deluxe Founder’s Pack
The Deluxe Founder’s Pack includes:
Ultimate Founder’s Pack
The Ultimate Founder’s Pack includes:
Some Founder’s Pack Rewards Will Stay Character-Limited
Not every Founder’s Pack reward is being changed.
The 30-day membership, Daeva’s Campaign Supply Chest, Daeva’s Styling Chest, and their contents will remain one-time rewards under their existing rules.
So the upcoming account-wide change applies specifically to the eligible cosmetics and title listed by the developers.
When Will the Change Happen?
The new system is not live yet.
AION 2’s team says the implementation may take several days, and the solution will be completed after the end of Early Access. The developers have not yet provided the final activation date or detailed instructions for how characters will receive access to the cosmetics.
A second update will be published once the approach, process, and timeline have been confirmed.
Steam Players Can Request a Refund After Upgrading
The change could also affect players who originally purchased a lower-tier Founder’s Pack because of the old character and server restrictions.
On Purple, players can upgrade their Founder’s Pack to a higher tier.
On Steam, players who purchase a higher-tier Founder’s Pack on the same account will be able to request a refund for the lower-priced pack through Customer Support. The exact refund process will be explained in a later update.
For now, players should wait for the follow-up announcement before making assumptions about how the refund process will work.
AION 2 Founder’s Pack Change Comes From Player Feedback
The developers said the change came directly from feedback collected during Early Access. Players had pointed out that the original restrictions made it harder to use the outfits when playing with friends on different servers or when trying other classes.
The team is now working on the account-wide solution, with more details expected once the implementation process is finalized.
