A Stroke of Fate: Operation Valkyrie is a detective adventure game based on the famous German Resistance plan, Operation Valkyrie. In this game, you play the role of Standartenfuhrer Gerhard Mayer, a patriotic officer who works at the Reich Security Head Office. Mayer learns that the Gestapo has tracked down the conspirators. Now, he tries to mislead the Gestapo in his investigation to help the Resistance overthrow the Nazi regime and stop the war.
In the game, you have to work like a detective in historical surroundings. You face many detailed locations and characters where you also get the chance to play spy mini-games. The game features photorealistic high-definition graphics, and you can also play in black and white movie style. It immerses you fully into the old-world atmosphere, where you can feel every element close to reality.
