Dota 2 has added a new treasure packed with dark-themed cosmetics. Called the Trove of Terror, the new release includes 15 Immortal item sets, a returning Drow Ranger Arcana, a brand-new Tidehunter Arcana, and new appearances for Tormentor and Roshan.
The Trove of Terror is available now, giving players a new collection of cosmetics to hunt down in Dota 2.
Trove of Terror Includes 15 New Immortal Sets
The main attraction is a collection of 15 new Immortal item sets built around eldritch and otherworldly designs.
The sets cover a range of heroes and bring a darker look to their cosmetics. Alongside these sets, Valve has also added new high-tier cosmetic rewards tied to the Trove.
Drow Ranger Gets a Returning Arcana
The Trove of Terror brings back a Drow Ranger Arcana that had previously disappeared from the game.
The Arcana gives Drow Ranger two different appearances. Players can use her familiar look or switch to a new darker form with a more ominous design.
Tidehunter Gets the Maw of the Megalodon Arcana
The biggest new Arcana in the Trove of Terror belongs to Tidehunter.
Called Maw of the Megalodon, the Arcana gives Tidehunter a completely new model along with custom animations, effects, taunts, and voice lines.
The cosmetic also comes with a shark-themed companion element, including a familiar-looking corpse dragged along by Tidehunter.
There are also three different shark-toothed designs tied to the Arcana, giving players additional looks to unlock.
New Tormentor and Roshan Appearances
The Trove of Terror also adds new designs for two of Dota 2’s familiar creatures.
Players can unlock a new Tormentor appearance by opening enough treasures. Opening more Troves can also lead to a new Roshan appearance based on the eldritch theme of the collection.
These designs continue the darker visual style used throughout the Trove of Terror.
Dota 2 Trove of Terror Is Available Now
