AION 2 Twitch Drops: Steam and Purple Account Guide

Highlights

AION 2 Twitch Drops are available with separate rewards for Advanced Access and Global Launch.
Steam players must link their Steam account, while Purple players need to link their NC (Purple) account.
The Twitch Drops campaign includes rewards such as cosmetics, Enhancement Stones, Kina, and other in-game items.

AION 2’s Twitch Drops are now live, but players need to be careful when connecting their game account to Twitch. The account linked to Twitch must be the same account you’re using to play AION 2.

The Twitch Drops campaign runs in two periods, with separate rewards for Advanced Access and the global launch.

Which AION 2 Account Should You Link?

The account you need to connect depends on where you play AION 2.
If you’re playing through Steam, link your Steam account to Twitch.
If you’re playing through NC (Purple), link your NC (Purple) account.

Note:

The important part is to use the account you’re currently playing AION 2 on. Linking another account can result in your Twitch Drops not being delivered to the account with your character.

Don’t Link Another Account on the NC Website

The AION 2 team has also warned players not to separately link another account through the NC website if their Twitch Drops haven’t appeared.
Doing this can unlink the connection you already have, and you could lose access to your existing character.

So if a reward doesn’t show up right away, don’t try to fix the problem by connecting a different account. Check the official Twitch Drops FAQ or the account support information first.

AION 2 Twitch Drops Dates

The Twitch Drops campaign is split into two periods:

Advanced Access Rewards: September 30 to October 4
Global Launch Rewards: October 5 to October 16

Players can earn the rewards by watching participating AION 2 Twitch streams during the relevant period.

2 hours: 5,000 Enhancement Stones
4 hours: 10 Resurrection Spiritstones
6 hours: 500,000 Kina Bundle
8 hours: White Headset

These rewards are available from participating AION 2 channels during the Advanced Access period.

Global Launch Twitch Drops Rewards

The second reward set runs from October 5 through October 16.

The required watch times and rewards are:

1 hour: 4 Odyle Energy

6 hours: 2 Soul Codex: Reset
8 hours: 10 Resurrection Spiritstones
10 hours: Adorable Young Elim

These rewards are separate from the Advanced Access reward set.

What If You Can’t Access Your Character?

If you accidentally change your account connection and can no longer access your AION 2 character, the team points players to its official FAQ for the steps to resolve the issue.

It’s worth checking that information before changing any account connections. The team specifically warns against separately linking an account through the NC website when trying to deal with missing Twitch Drops.

How to Avoid Twitch Drops Problems in AION 2

Before watching streams for the rewards, check which account you’re using to play the game.

Steam player: Link your Steam account.
NC (Purple) player: Link your NC (Purple) account.

Don’t connect a different account just to try to get the Drops. If something goes wrong, check the official AION 2 Twitch Drops FAQ and account support information instead of changing the existing connection.

The Twitch Drops campaign is already running, so players can start earning the rewards during the applicable event period.
