Kenshi is a free-roaming, squad-based RPG that focuses on open-ended sandbox gameplay instead of a fixed story. You can choose your own path—become a trader, a thief, a rebel, a warlord, or just a wanderer trying to survive in a harsh world.
Your actions define who you are. You can build a small farm and live peacefully, or you might end up as a slave under someone else’s rule. Your main goal is to train your squad from weak survivors into strong warriors, but the journey won’t be easy.
This world is unforgiving, and only patience and strategy will help you survive. Build your own base, craft weapons and gear, and research new technology. You can make friends or enemies with different factions, but the world won’t wait for you.
If you’re not careful, slavers might capture you, bandits could burn down your home, or cannibals might turn you into their next meal. There are no “chosen ones” in Kenshi—if you want to become strong, you have to earn it. Every character can grow and change, and every decision leads to a new challenge.
