Darksiders: Genesis is an action-adventure game that shows the world of Darksiders before the events of the first game. It introduces a new hero, Strife, who is the fourth and final Horseman. For the first time in the series, co-op gameplay is included, allowing two players to fight demons and angels together. Since the beginning of time, The Council has maintained balance in the universe.
To carry out their orders, they chose powerful beings called Nephilim, a mix of angels and demons, as the Horsemen. However, this power came at a heavy cost – they had to destroy their own kind. This led to a brutal war on Eden, where the Horsemen, following the Council’s command, wiped out the Nephilim completely.
After the battle on Eden, War and Strife receive a new mission. Lucifer, a clever and deceptive demon king, is secretly giving power to demon leaders in Hell to break the balance of the world. War and Strife must track down these demons, uncover their plans, and fight through a dangerous conspiracy that threatens to destroy everything.
Darksiders: Genesis is a fast-paced game filled with battles, where swords clash, and guns fire non-stop. Players can switch between War and Strife at any time and enjoy both single-player and two-player co-op modes.
