River City Girls brings trouble back to River City, but this time only the girls can save the day! Kyoko and Misako aren’t just caring girlfriends—they’re also fierce fighters. Their mission is to rescue their kidnapped boyfriends, Kunio and Riki, by taking on the city’s toughest gangsters.
With punches, kicks, and powerful combo moves, they’ll fight through the streets, either solo or with a friend in 2-player co-op mode.
River City Girls features vibrant 16-bit pixel-art graphics, stylish anime cutscenes, and an energetic synth-pop soundtrack. Players will explore six large areas of River City, complete side quests, and visit shops to power up their heroines.
Plenty of weapons and items can be found to make Kyoko and Misako even stronger. Plus, familiar faces from the River City series make guest appearances, adding nostalgia for longtime fans.
