Alice: Madness Returns is a deeply psychological third-person action-adventure platformer that continues the tragic story of Alice Liddell. After surviving a traumatic house fire that claimed her entire family eleven years ago, Alice was institutionalized in Rutledge Asylum, consumed by grief, guilt, and vivid hallucinations.

The boundaries between reality and madness blur as she slips back into a twisted version of Wonderland — a place both beautiful and horrifying, shaped by her broken memories and inner torment.
In Alice: Madness Returns, players guide Alice through stunning and surreal environments inspired by her mental state. From the lush, dreamlike gardens to grotesque dollhouses and nightmarish clockwork worlds, every area reflects a part of her psyche.
The gameplay combines fluid platforming with fast-paced combat, as Alice wields a series of imaginative weapons — including the Vorpal Blade, Pepper Grinder, and Hobby Horse — to fight corrupted creatures and monstrous manifestations.
