Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is an exciting and adventurous turn-based RPG set in the world of Monster Hunter. In this game, you become a Rider who forms bonds with Monsties—friendly monsters—to travel the world together.
Your mission is to protect the egg of a special Rathalos, which has been entrusted to you by your grandfather, Red. Along the way, you team up with Ena, a Wyverian girl, and slowly uncover strange occurrences happening in the world.
When you hatch a new Monstie, a flightless Rathalos, the adventure becomes even more thrilling, and with every step, new challenges await you.
In the game, you find eggs in monster dens, hatch them, and add new Monsties to your team. You can strengthen these Monsties by transferring genes to improve their abilities. The turn-based combat system lets you use Power, Speed, and Technical attacks strategically to defeat your opponents.
The better your planning, the bigger the victory! Additionally, in multiplayer mode, you can join forces with other Riders from around the world to complete quests or compete in Versus Battles. Every step of the way, you form friendships with new Monsties, making your journey even more exciting.
