Infection Free Zone is a game that gives you the opportunity to rebuild and relive your city in new ways. The world has been ravaged by the “Mad Virus,” and now cities lie abandoned. You, along with your group of survivors, are in search of a new base of operations, where everything must be rebuilt from scratch.
Survival is a challenge at every turn, and when night falls, you must protect your zone from the infected hordes. The most unique aspect of the game is the freedom to choose any city or region in the world as your base, simply by entering the city name and starting to play, using OpenStreetMap’s data.
This game offers a unique way to test your survival skills by utilizing the knowledge and resources available within your city. Every city has its own history, and you’ll know the best places to search, like grocery stores, pharmacies, and weapons.
But be careful—searching old buildings can be dangerous as infected may be lurking in the dark. As night falls, you’ll face massive infected hordes. You’ll need to use everything from melee weapons to vehicles and walls to protect your base.
You’ll rebuild your zone according to your own strategy, form alliances with other survivors, or clash with hostile groups. You’ll also research a vaccine or cure to achieve ultimate victory.
