Recent leaks have shed light on the highly anticipated Version 5.2 update for Genshin Impact, promising significant additions to the game. The update is slated for release on November 20, 2024.
Map Expansion: Ochkanatlan and Beyond
Version 5.2 will introduce Ochkanatlan, a new region in Natlan, comprising three distinct areas:
- Warped Branch Cliff
- Mirror Wall Mountain
- Ancient ruins of Ochkanatlan
These regions will be inhabited by the Flowerfeather Clan and the Masters of the Night Wind, granting players access to the coveted Natlan reputation glider. The update will also expand the playable area northwest, connecting Warped Branch Cliff to the Stadium of the Sacred Flame and bridging Ochkanatlan with Huitzli Hill.
New Playable Characters: Ororon and Chasca
Two new characters will join the roster:
- Ororon (4-Star Electro Support): Amplifies Electro-Charged reactions and deals off-field damage.
- Chasca (5-Star Anemo Hypercarry): Applies diverse elemental damage types based on teammates’ abilities.
Both characters possess unique exploration skills tied to their respective Saurian tribes.
Exploration Rewards and Preparation
A new reward system will incentivize exploration, offering up to 400 Primogems for achieving specific milestones within the first two patches of each new region. Players can prepare for Version 5.2 by stockpiling Primogems for the upcoming Event Banners featuring Chasca and Ororon and exploring current Natlan zones to maximize rewards.
Mare Jivari Teased for Future Update
Although Mare Jivari won’t be part of Version 5.2, the recently leaked Natlan topography map hints at its inclusion in a future update.
