Army Men: Sarge’s War is a popular video game and the final installment in the Sarge’s Heroes series. It was the first game in the series to be released by Global Star Software instead of the original developer, 3DO, although 3DO had already begun production and created the FMV cutscenes before shutting down.

The story begins with a sudden attack on Greentown by the Tan Republic, where Sergeant Hawk fights his way through the war-torn city to save it. After the battle, Colonel Grimm informs Hawk that the Tan Army has surrendered and that there will be a peace ceremony that night. However, a rogue Tan faction, led by Lord Malice, has secretly stolen infantry molds, allowing them to build a new army. Hawk is given the mission to find and eliminate Malice.
